Delicious chicken tikka masala and lunch boxes. Generous portions, great variety, friendly people, tasty extras. I'd definitely recommend Dakshin Indian Bistro!

****EDIT!!… I recently went back because the mixed vegetables noodles are just the best you’ll find locally, I’ve went to several other Indian cuisine restaurants and they aren’t as good as Dakshin. I seen my usually lady there this last time and she is so sweet🥰 her customer service is amazing!!! I wish I would’ve got her name but she’s usually always there! I hope she knows she’s appreciated and the reason I’ll continue to go even with past experiences with the other ladies there.It pains me to write this review because I’ve been going to this restaurant several times since I moved from FL but the main lady I always see hasn’t been there recently so the customer service has been M.I.A with her. I frequent Dakshin at least twice a week sometimes once but with the usual lady I never had any problems at all. This will be my last time visiting the restaurant unfortunately the owner charged me a $1.30 service fee for cash and that has never happened to me before. The price is $12.99 and usually comes up to $13.96 with tax (Instead of the $14.20 I paid today) I usually tip at least $2-$5 every time because I love this place that much, however I asked the owner if she has change for a $20 because the last time I came here I paid $15 and the younger cashier lady gave me nothing back, she didn’t even give me the option to tip she just kept the money so I asked the owner. “Do you guys have change for a $20” I guess she figured I wouldn’t tip or something so she went ahead and added a service fee of $1.30 which I’ve never had before when paying with cash.

I hate to write this review. I think the owners should updates the description of the Lunchboxtogo menu because I never receive the dessert that is advertised. I enjoy going in to eat at the restaurant which normally is good but, ordering online to get lunch has been disappointing. I also notice the appetizer today was quite stale and completely inedible.

Ordered take out. The food was hot and fresh. Absolutely delicious. I love the butter chicken mild and it was perfectly spiced. The Samosas were crisp and full of flavor. We really enjoyed the extras for the naan. Super tasty. Definitely recommend!

Sweet little southern Indian restaurant with a wide ranging menu. Good food in the southern style with spice levels on a southern Indian scale. The egg curry was the mildest dish we tried and the Madras Curry rated a menu medium that we would have called a 4 on 0-5 scale. Wish the Tika Wraps were on the dine-in menu. Service was a bit slow due to someone not coming in to work. Glad not to have been rushed, but also did have to wait to place our order longer than I'm used to.
